February 1 2021, Lori Chadwich our Director of Development Services brought forward to council a year end update on development in the Town. Today, I am excited to share with you the proposed McGregor residential developments.
Masaccio Drive which is an existing developed road is looking to expand and break ground this spring. All they need is an update to their Storm Water Management. Planning approvals and registered lots are in place.
Ducharme Lane looking to expand to the East and North, this is at an infancy stage. We are working with Amherstburg to discuss sanitary sewer capacity.
Parnell Street Apartments, an application for a concept plan was shown to the town last year. Fine tuning the plan and from pre-consultation plans have shown they are looking to incorporate rental apartments and not ownership. They are proposing town home units and apartment style units.
Former Home Hardware building permits plans were submitted, plans need some revisions. Once they have final approvals they can start building.
