March 8 is International Women’s Day, a global day of recognition celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women and girls, and raising awareness of the work left to be done.
I am so proud to be a leader in our community knowing that our young people have a female role model to look up to. I hope to inspire young people in our community to get involved in politics, leading and being vocal about what matters to them.
