The Town of Essex has many important committees that do a lot of the leg work when it comes to keeping our town running. Since the Covid 19 pandemic, committees have moved to zoom just like our council meetings. The Committee of Adjustment has always been recorded and uploaded but many of our other committees are just recorded at this point. A recent Heritage committee meeting was a hot button topic and it was then I realized it would be really convenient for our residents to watch our committee meetings on YouTube like they watch our council meetings. More people are paying attention now to Essex Council than ever before ( well except maybe when Councillor Voakes and Mayor McDermott were in fighting ), I wish to keep people engaged and I hope that we can continue to improve on our transparency.
Here is a list of our committees that could potentially be uploaded if council supports the Notice of Motion being presented at the Tuesday Feb 16th 2021 Council meeting:
