Essex Home Hardware has purchased 12 vacant acres on Maidstone Ave in Essex Centre near Highway 3. This property will become a new retail store and lumber yard. The administration at Town Hall and in particular our Economic Development Officer Nelson Silveira have been working with the proponents to make this transition a reality. The new site is expected to open near the end of 2023.
