I have been asked recently who are the ELK Board Members and how are they appointed. All ELK Board Members are appointed by Essex Council at the start of each term. We have a striking committee made up by Larry Snively, Richard Meloche, Joe Garon and Kim Verbeek who make recommendations to Council about who should be on committees. ELK does have a formal complaint policy which does NOT include contacting the Board of Directors. It has always been the status quo at ELK to keep the Board Members names off their website- I did request this when I was on the board and it is still not posted for the public.

There are 5 Essex Councillors, a representative from Kingsville, Essex, Lakeshore and Harrow. If you reach out to ELK and still do not receive a satisfactory response you have the option to contact the Ontario Energy Board.
