Councillor Matyi recently entered a Notice of Motion that is going to be discussed at council on May 2nd.
Moved That… all license applications to operate short term rental properties established after May 2, 2022, will require the owner of the STR to be a living in or on the property which is their primary residence, or within 100 metres of the property in their primary residence in order to be considered for a license to operate a short term rental unit in a residential (R) zoned neighbourhood’
