Tuesday January 19th, I requested to be on the GECDSB’S speakers list. It was a great opportunity to watch a school board meeting and hear issues in front of them. I read my open letter to the board and felt welcomed by the newly elected board chair Alicia Higgison. Alicia grew up in Harrow and is a Harrow High school graduate so if anyone knows how we feel it is her. I was also called earlier in the day by Erin Kelly, the Director of Education. The ball is now in their court, they know how we feel with the numerous recent media releases stating Harrow Public school students will be moved into the new school in Kingsville. I look forward to hearing back from the Board and when I know you will know!
