One More Time: July 23rd
The first annual Essex Kids’ Clothing Swap has been a big hit. Both locations, Harrow and McGregor, saw many families walk away with “new to them” clothes. We also listened when we heard that our teens were looking for new to them clothing as well and at the McGregor event, the community delivered. We had much more clothing to offer our older youth. Again, we are seeking donations of gently used, laundered children’s clothing. Drop off locations are still 12009 Ducharme Lane in McGregor and 255 Wellington Street in Harrow. More details to come for Ward 1 drop off locations.
As Councillor Kim Verbeek would say, “For the community, by the community”. As requested, we are again getting ready to take the show on the road and we are partnering with WECAP – Windsor Essex Community Arts Project. It is the perfect fit, a community organization that highlights performing arts in our town.
Our Essex, Ward 1 Swap will be July 23rd from 10:00 to 3:00 at the Masonic Hall located at 30 Laird Street. More details to follow!
Stay tuned and clean out those closets please. We are in need of all size clothing but especially girls size 4-8 and boys 2-3 and 4-8.
