So Much to Lose

We have everything to gain and everything to lose. This should be easy, this should of been done already. This picture taken by Donny Moore shows what we can lose. The building and the ball diamond to the South of the building and the walking track are all at risk, they are owned by the Board of Education not the Town.

This is a package deal, the land the building can not be separated. The school has been declared surplus for 5 years and The Town of Essex had right of first refusal.

We can NOT wait any longer, we will lose it all the private development. We will lose control not only of the building but of ALL the greenspace. Council can not let this happen. This would be a devastation to the Harrow and Colchester Community.

The Recreational Core of Harrow is beautifully designed. Everything is right here at our finger tips. An arena, tennis courts, skate park, ball diamonds, splash pad, playground, forest, walking track, Harrow Fair grounds.

We must keep this intact and now is the time to look at a recreational community hub. So many people are knocking on our door. It is time to open the door to possibilities. This can not go to private development. If it does the entire core will never be the same.

This community can do anything, that I know.
