May 17th Council met in closed session. During the open session the clerk was able to update the public on the following,
” Council did meet in closed session earlier this evening. Number one council met as permitted under section 239, 2 E of the Municipal Act in which council received information and gave direction with respect to two litigation or proposed litigation matters. Secondly council and discussed in closed session as permitted as section 239 2 C under the Municipal Act and accordingly council received information, discussed and provided direction about two proposed land matters affecting the town”
